Risk Description
Mitigation
1
There is a possibility that there will be bad weather on the day of skydiving
The NZOne would call us in the morning if the skydive canceled because of bad weather reasons. There will be plenty of time to rearrange the activities of the day by exploring the city of Queenstown. If possible, we will ask to reschedule the skydive to the next day, our 2nd day at Queenstown. A skydiving instructor had ever suggested Debby when she did skydive that morning to midday will be the best time to do skydiving because of the weather is usually good. We’ve book based on this suggestion at 10 AM.
2
There is a possibility several things related to safety will occur during skydiving such as hypothermia or accident
To prevent hypothermia, the operator suggested on what to wear while skydiving. In Winter, they recommend that multiple layers are more suitable than one large jacket. A special suit also provided to be worn by the operator.
Moreover, the operator explained that they are really concern about safety as the quote below:
“Safety’s the top priority for us at NZONE Skydive. We use industry leading skydiving systems and the latest in internationally recognized safety practices.

We operate under the strict authority the of NZ Civil Aviation Authority and also the New Zealand Parachute Industry Association.

All our Tandem Masters have jumped over 1,000 times, some have even jumped over 24,000 times! All parachutes are fitted with reserve chutes and automatic opening devices (AAD).

AAD stands for “Automatic Activation Device”. It’s an on-board computer that automatically activates an emergency parachute in the unlikely event its needed.” – NZOne, 2019

With all above technology and prevention effort, if the undesired events such as accident occur, there are several hospitals and clinics that accessible within 30 minutes distance (subsection 5.2.2).
3
There is a possibility that there will be bad weather on the day of the Hobbiton tour
In their website, Hobbiton management would provide umbrella on site to be use by the visitors. As we will be traveling in New Zealand, it is recommended that everyone bring their raincoat and waterproof jacket. Based on Debby and her friends’ experience in visiting Hobbiton, the trip will still be carried on a rainy day.
4
There is a possibility that there will be bad weather on the day of tracking in Mt Cook and Bend Lomond
The update weather condition will be monitor through the met service regularly. If the weather is bad on the planned date and time, both tracking activities will be canceled. The destination will be replaced with the backup tourism attraction near the location. Mt Cook tracking will be replaced by Lake Pukaki and Lake Tekapo. And Bend Lomond tracking will be replaced by visiting arrow town, Marine Parade park, and Queenstown garden.

The fuel of rented cars will be in full capacity when we first pick them up. After calculating the fuel tank capacity and trip distance, the fuel will be filled in Taupo and Wellington for North Island and Tekapo and Christchurch in South Island. The location of petrol stations in the cities will be shown in subsection 5.2.3.
7
There is a possibility that we our rented car broke during the trip
As we have taken stress-free premium cover (Jucy) and peace in mind zero risks (Go Rental) insurance, all of the damages of the car during the trips will be fully covered. In case of any unwanted damages occur during the trip, we will call AA breakdown service at 09 966 8800. Moreover, we can also go to the nearest auto repair that could be located using google map (subsection 5.2.4)
8
There is a possibility that the trip participant will clash during the trip
There is a possibility that an argument will occur between the trip participant. When this happens, we will talk about that and remind everyone about the purpose of the trip: togetherness. Moreover, we should agree from the beginning that this trip should be conflict free.
9
There is a possibility that someone got sick during the trip
First aid kit will be prepared by sari. However, everyone also suggests bringing their personal medication, if any. The location of the hospitals (subsection 5.2.2.)  and pharmacy (subsection 5.2.5) will also be identified using google map.
